Handy Map App Terms of Service

1. Use of the App

You agree to use Handy Map only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for activity under it. You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. Usernames must not impersonate others, be offensive, or be misleading. If you do not choose a username, one may be assigned automatically.

3. User-Generated Content

You may submit places, comments, ratings, reports, feature requests, bug reports, and other content. You are responsible for the content you submit. You agree not to submit false, misleading, abusive, offensive, illegal, spam, malicious, or privacy-violating content.

4. Content License

You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, display, reproduce, modify for formatting or moderation, and distribute that content as part of operating and improving Handy Map.

5. Moderation

We may review, edit, remove, hide, or restrict content at our discretion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service.

6. Accuracy Disclaimer

Handy Map contains user-generated information about real-world places. We do not guarantee that any place, toilet, facility, route, rating, opening status, condition, accessibility detail, or other information is accurate, available, safe, clean, or suitable for your needs. You use the information at your own risk.

7. Urgent Mode and Beta Features

Urgent Mode and nearby-result features are intended to help you find nearby options faster, but they do not guarantee availability, safety, accessibility, cleanliness, or suitability. Always use your own judgment in real-world situations.

During beta testing, some features may be free, limited, unavailable, changed, or removed before release. Beta access to Urgent Mode may be free while beta testing is active. We do not currently claim that subscriptions or paid app features are active for beta users.

8. Location Services

Location features require your permission and are used only while the App is in use. You can disable location permissions in your device settings, but some features may not work correctly.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time. After deletion, account data is removed where possible. Public contributions may remain in anonymized form to preserve service integrity and will no longer display your personal identity. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You may not misuse the App, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data without permission, submit harmful content, impersonate others, or use the App in a way that violates laws or third-party rights.

11. Future Ads and Paid Features

We may introduce advertisements or paid features in the future. Additional terms may apply to paid features where required.

12. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from inaccurate information, user-generated content, unavailable locations, service interruptions, or your use of or inability to use the App.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
